Primo day 7 – March 6, 2014
I’m angry
This afternoon I received two emails that Alpha-crucis.com refunded part of my order.
It looks like they forgot to send me the wheels and just refunded those.
But… now I have to reorder them elsewhere and have extra shipping costs!
Total -/- € 7,52.
So I’m angry
I’m happy
My order from Ciseco arrived today!
And also the order from Alpha-crucis arrived (but I’m not that happy about it).
And… my colleague brought me my 1mm plywood sheet.
Wheels
I reordered my wheels at Technobots.
I wished I found them the first time.
Adding to my total: € 14, 43 (so now it’s € 6,91 higher than before).
Another place to order the Solarbotic parts is at Watterott.
Their shipping costs are a bit higher, so I didn’t order it there.
Tomorrow
I can’t wait to go to Fabklas tomorrow!
I’m now going to prepare everything and pack it.

Hey Sjoerd Dirk
I checked out the fablab here too. Looked fantastic!
To get started I need to get the plywood first. In a hobby store they are selling the 4mm plywood in packets of 4 by the size of A2(420 x 594) or A3 (297 x 420). Do you think the packet of A3 will do it? Or should I go for the A2.
And overall, how much of the 1mm would I need?
Regards
Roman

Hi Roman,
A3 should fit.The largest part for the interface board is approx. 280 x 330. I used one sheet of 500 x 300 1mm plywood and had leftovers.
My tip: get QCAD / export to PDF / open PDF in Illustrator/CorelDraw/etc. and copy paste all parts in to new files with the dimensions of the plywood you’re using.
I will ask Primo if I may publish my PDF’s.
