How to use your ShrimpKey
Your computer will see your ShrimpKey as a keyboard and so it will be typing letters.
Connect (only at the marked places) a jumper wire to the connector.
On the other side of the jumper wire you can attach everyday (conductive) objects.
On the grounding-connectors you’ll also connect a wire (on the foto you will see an alligator wire).
On this photo you can see which letters you can type (click here to read how to change the keys).
Now hold the grounding wire and touching one of the other wires, you can type.
But…
It’s more fun to connect objects (like potatoes, bananas, etc.) and use these.
See my other posts on this website for more examples or do an internet search on ‘MakeyMakey’.
Here I list a couple of websites with fun MakeyMakey-projects (and they’ll also work with the ShrimpKey).
